The final open day for September 2025 entry is suited to those interested in joining the Lower, Middle or Upper School. The Open Day features a welcome talk by the Principal, followed by a tour of the school and the opportunity to meet staff including the Course Directors and Director of Studies.
At Tring Park School pupils are given rigorous training in the performing arts, combined with an extensive academic programme of study. Pupils are taught in small classes by well-qualified, highly experienced teachers; This ensures that every pupil is given the best possible chance to attain their maximum potential.
Lower School (Years 7 to 9)
The academic element of the Lower School follows the requirements of the National Curriculum with the full range of subjects for Key Stage 3: English, maths, science, ICT, history, geography, French, Spanish, art and design, music and PSHE. The curriculum is designed to give pupils experience in linguistic, mathematical, scientific, technological, human and social, physical, aesthetic and creative aspects. Pupils can choose either the Dance or Performance Foundation course.
Middle School (Years 10 & 11)
Compulsory GCSE subjects are English language, English literature, maths, science (double award) and a modern foreign language (French or Spanish). Pupils also choose three additional subjects from the following options: dance, drama, geography, religious studies, art, history, triple award science and music. Two vocational courses are offered: Dance and Performance Foundation.
Sixth Form (Years 12 & 13)
Students studying A Levels choose from either Dance, Commercial Music, Acting, Musical Theatre or Technical Theatre courses. Students are expected to take three A-Level subjects (except Dance course students).
