A new door opens
Over the years, we have provided bursaries where there is a strong case for financial support. Now we plan to do more. Our new ‘Stage for All Awards’ are very generous, means-tested bursaries, predominantly for places in our Sixth Form, for young people with outstanding talent and demonstrable need. Our goal is to be able to fund 10 ‘Stage for All Awards’ within the school at any one time.
Why this matters
Encouragement, top quality coaching and performance opportunities for a young person can make the difference between going on to realise their talent or giving up on a dream. And, beyond the critical importance of these awards for those who benefit directly, we believe the whole school gains from a wider range of backgrounds and perspectives.

How you can make this happen
While we welcome single donations, many donors wish to spread their giving over time, and this is a practical way of funding a place. We have set out some donation examples to show the effect of various levels of monthly giving with the benefit of Gift Aid and tax relief.
For example, £27 a month becomes £324 over a year with Gift Aid (annual net cost of £243 for a 40% taxpayer). 100 people doing this covers a full Stage for All Award for one year. £54 a month becomes £648, and needs 50 people to create a full award, and £260 a month becomes £4,160/year, needing only 10 people. Consider creating a Power of Ten Club with your friends.
Single donation examples are that £415 becomes £519 with Gift Aid (net cost: £311 for a 40% taxpayer), £2,100 becomes £2,625 and £20,000 becomes £25,000 and is more than halfway to a full award.
