"No words can describe my complete gratitude to you. You have given me an opportunity to pursue my ambition to become a professional performer and for that I am unbelievably thankful. Without your support I simply could not have trained at Tring Park and would not be able to live my dream."

The specialist nature of the vocational courses available at Tring Park are not provided by the State sector meaning that many of the School’s pupils come from families that would not ordinarily have chosen independent education. Demand for a place at the School is extremely high with entry based on a rigorous audition process emphasising artistic talent and potential. Every year many families face the difficult situation of their son or daughter gaining a place at the School based on their artistic ability but then not having the financial means to pay for the high fees associated with such specialist independent education.
As an educational charity with insufficient endowment funds to assist in the provision of scholarships, Tring Park does not have the means to support some of its most talented acting students and therefore secure its position as one of the leading specialist Performing Arts Schools in the United Kingdom. To uphold its long-standing tradition of excellence and maintain its considerable contribution to the performing arts world, an essential part of Tring Park’s mission is to ensure that talented young people can continue to benefit from the exceptional training we offer, regardless of their background. Making this conviction a reality, however, becomes more challenging every year. The School currently invests approximately 10% of annual fee income into our Scholarship and Bursary programme, but this fund is not nearly large enough to assist every case of financial hardship and so to meet this extraordinary need we must significantly increase fundraising for Scholarship and Bursaries.
