Former student Natalia Butragueno leaves Tring Park to join the English National Ballet Company. She will be making her debut with ENB in Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall. 15 of Tring Park's current young dancers have also been invited to take part in this production of Swan Lake which has been choreographed in the round by Derek Deane. Former student Abiona Omonua to play Nettie in a landmark musical version of The Color PurpleThe European premiere of the musical The Color Purple from the Pullitzer Prize-winning book by Alice Walder comes to the prestigious Menier Chocolate Factory from 5 July with music and lyrics by Grammy award winners Brenda Russell, Allee Willis and Stephen Bray. Abiona's recent shows have included Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre and the UK Tour of Hairspray.

Lily James to star in Kenneth Branagh's CinderellaFormer student Lily James who plays Lady Rose MacClare in ITV's Downton Abbey will star as Cinderella opposite Cate Blanchett, who takes the role of her evil stepmother in the new Disney production of Cinderella which will be directed by Kenneth Branagh. Walt Disney Pictures announced the news of her casting as Cinderella with a tweet last night saying: "Just Announced: Actress Lily James will play Cinderella in the live-action interpretation of the beloved classic tale." Lily will be reprising her role as Lady Rose in series four of Downton.

If you attended and left the School at any time since the 1990’s you are warmly invited to return to Tring Park to meet up with old classmates over a glass of Pimm’s. The London production of A Clockwork Orange with alumni Will Stokes has just transferred to Melbourne in the first production of the show in Australia.
